Abstract:
Intra-nasal presentation of innate dacryocystocele isn’t common and some cases were reported within the literature. Edward syndrome (also called chromosonal disorder 18) is that the second –most common chromosonal disorder, which has a multiple innate anomalies with a poor prognosis. we tend to square measure presenting a case of enormous unilateral intranasal dacryocystocele during a preterm male baby, United Nations agency was diagnosed later as associate degree Edward syndrome, and has had a severe metabolism distress when birth that leaded to canulization of the newborn and mechanical ventilation. imaging analysis by CT and magnetic resonance imaging with diagnostic nasal scrutiny was the work-up for confirmation of the designation. The patient was with success managed by scrutiny marsupialization of the dacryocystocele cyst with a blunt searching of the channel. On the second day when operation, the baby was extubated and symptoms of metabolism distressed disappeared.
