Abstract:
This study enclosed a hundred and twenty consecutive patients (60 experiments, sixty controls) WHO underwent diagnostic CAG for the primary time. Depression and anxiety levels were evaluated altogether patients at admission. The day before the CAG procedure, the audio-visual (video) education was given to experimental cluster. The management cluster was knowing solely verbally concerning the procedure. Information were applied mathematicsly analyzed with SPSS16 statistical software package.
The average state anxiety score simply before CAG procedure, the values of the heart beat, heartbeat and pulse pressure level were considerably lower within the experimental cluster applied audio-visual education compared to regulate cluster given verbal data.
